Inside PE inBrazil - New York Edition - New York City

The Inside PE inBrazil started as a way to provide international investors based in New York as well as those travelling to the city to attend LAVCA´s Annual Summit an opportunity to go deeper on issues related to the Brazilian private equity industry. On its 5th year, the Inside PE inBrazil has become a must-attend event on the week-long activities focused on Latin America.

This year the event has gathered a total of 68 participants from Brazil and abroad. A total of 27 LPs and 28 GPs (individuals) were present. A full list of the participating firms is available above.

The event was kicked-off by Paulo Vieira Cunha, Partner at Vernbank Consulting who shared an overview of Brazil´s economic and political scenario as well as the reform process. Mr. Cunha set the tone and expectations by providing a realistic presentation on the country´s macro aspects of today and the opportunities and difficulties moving forward. His presentation was followed by a discussion on sectors that has been attractive to local investors. After the break, participants had the chance to hear from and join an open dialogue with the largest fund managers active in Brazil on the local investment and exit scenario. This conversation was followed by a session where global LPs shared their perspective on previous and future investments in the country.
