What we saw: With presidential elections due a fews weeks from the event, the discussion on the floor was about who of the candidates would win this competitive race. In spite of the cautious approach to PE investments in Brazil both local GPs and global LPs agreed that the problems faced were nothing like those seen ten years ago. Matured investors with a long track-record in the country where optimistic about Brazil´s opportunity and capacity to show results in the long-term.
