The workgroup aims to promote and disseminate the impact investment in the country, following international practices and metrics, seeking to increase the volume of resources destined to investments with financial return and social impact, as well as to disseminate existing opportunities in Brazil for enterprises from the sector.
The purpose of the Infrastructure Committee is to work on initiatives aimed at attracting investments for infrastructure projects and for deepening the institutional relationship with entities and bodies related to this segment.
The Institutional Committee aims to assist and support the Board of Directors in its statutory responsibilities regarding corporate governance, organizational structure and compliance of the Association, representation and best practices of conduct of its members, as well as the administrative and financial procedures of ABVCAP.
The Institutional Investors Committee is focused on bringing together the demands of institutional investors and those of other participants in the private equity and venture capital industry, within the entity representative of the industry and in the improvement and evolution of the long-term investment environment in accordance with international benchmarks.
The Knowledge Center leads the agenda of educational courses, workshops, studies and researches produced by ABVCAP and its partners.
The Regulatory Committee aims to review and improve the regulations applicable to participation funds; implement the self-regulatory code of the private equity and venture capital industry; reduce administration costs and increase agility for fund formation; consolidate FIPS as effective instruments for long-term investments in Brazil; and promote the production of technical papers that serve as a subsidy for the development and continuous improvement of the Brazilian private equity and venture capital market.
The purpose of the Venture Capital Committee is to foster the capitalization of entrepreneurial initiatives in accordance with corporate governance practices, as well as creating an expressway for innovative companies, eliminating bottlenecks and reducing costs. To develop entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurial capital in its fullness, it is essential to promote changes in the regulatory environment of these activities in Brazil.
