beginning of the year, investments in the country´s infrastructure re-emerge as
a principal item in the government´s agenda and opportunity for long-term private
investors. A committee led by Brazil´s President Michel Temer have visited
several cities around the world in the last semester to promote the country´s
infrastructure assets to foreign investors.
Experts including local and global private
equity groups focused on infrastructure investments, senior legal advisors, and
institutional investors shared their knowledge and perspectives on the new
opportunities available, the challenges and the dynamics of the public-private
partnerships regarding the infrastructure sector in Brazil. The 60-minute Webcast will

He is Responsible for the management of a highly-skilled team, member of the innovation and ESG committees, investment analysis and management of the funds portfolio, project finance negotiations and industrial policy discussions. José Guilherme Souza Head Infrastructure Vinci Partners Mr. Souza is Responsible of the Vinci Partners’ Infrastructure department. Prior to joining Vinci Partners, he worked for Banco Pactual since 2005 as co-manager of FIP Brasil Energia USD 560 million. Prior to this, he was a management consultant for Stern Stewart & Co., from 2001 to 2004. Previously, he had five years of experience in equity sales and trading with Citigroup Asset Management and Banco Graphus. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Federal de Engenharia de Itajubá and an MBA with a major in Corporate Finance and Accounting from University of Rochester, New York (Beta Gamma Sigma award). Ricardo Propheta Marques Managing Partner BRZ Investimentos Mr. Propheta joined GP Investimentos in 2002 where he worked as analyst and associate in private equity funds. Since June 2006th , Mr. Propheta is exclusively dedicated to BRZ Investimentos working as managing partner of long-term area prospecting, running and monitoring companies and projects. In addition, he is member of the Board of Directors of Amata, LOGZ Logistica Brasil, Magnesita, America Latina Logistica and Regina Festas. Prior to joining GP Investimentos, he worked at the consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton do Brasil and at the banks CCF Brasil and Brascan. As a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton (2001-2002), he participated in several projects of strategic scope and/or operated leading companies in the infrastructure sector. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of companies such as Equatorial Energia, IG, Lupatech, among others. Ricardo Propheta has a degree in Production Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da USP. Thiago Cardoso Araújo Partner Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues Advogados Mr. Araújo specializes in administrative law, infrastructure and regulatory law as well as pension funds at Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues Advogados. He was a Special Legal Advisor at the Secretary of State for
Works of Rio de Janeiro between 2010 and 2015, and is
Attorney for the State of Rio de Janeiro since 2006.

He is currently earning a Doctorate’s Degree in Legal Theory at UERJ (to be concluded in 2015).
