Investing in Brazil Luncheon - New York

More than 140 delegates among institutional investors, GPs and other leading professionals in emerging market private equity gathered at the inaugural Investing in Brazil Luncheon held in New York on 26 February 2010. The event was organized by ABVCAP and ApexBrasil in partnership with Private Equity International´s Emerging Markets Investor Forum. Charles Langalis of Banco do Brasil, Luiz Eugenio Figueiredo of Rio Bravo Investimentos and in his capacity as former President of ABVCAP, and Roger Leeds of Johns Hopkins University provided a current overview of the challenges and opportunities for investment in Brazil. The overall message was clear, Brazil is the highlight among emerging markets and international investors see the country as a potential destination for investment.
