About ABVCAP
We are the Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, and our objective is to develop long-term investment activity in the country.
How we operate
ABVCAP facilitates relationships between members of the long-term community, providing an environment conducive to debate and strengthening relationships.
We defend the interests of industry members alongside public and private institutions, both national and foreign, in pursuit of public policies that are increasingly favorable to fostering these investments in Brazil.
Training programs, the development of studies and research on the industry, the dissemination of reliable data, the promotion of good practices among members of the community it represents and in invested companies – especially those related to governance and responsible investment – as well as interaction with similar or related entities, both national and international, are part of our daily activities, in favor of a healthy development of relationships between markets and the dissemination of the culture of long-term investment.
Our main mission is development, sustainable growth and market integration.
In addition to expanding and improving the various fronts of long-term investment in Brazil, in line with international practices, when applicable, ABVCAP's mission highlights its strategic integration with the capital market, as a driver of new assets/companies on the stock exchanges.

Our objectives are networking, studies and research, education, promotion of good practices and interaction with similar entities.
ABVCAP's work aims to facilitate relationships between members of the long-term investment community, both nationally and internationally, providing an environment conducive to debate and strengthening relationships.
