Political and institutional representation

ABVCAP is recognized nationally and internationally as the representative entity of the Brazilian PE&VC industry, bringing together some of the industry's most prominent members. As such, it works with regulatory bodies, government authorities at all levels, and the Legislative Branch to defend the interests of its members and advocate for their demands for an increasingly attractive investment environment for this industry.

Relationship with the national and international Private Equity and Venture Capital community

Through its events and support for selected national and international events, ABVCAP provides its members with close interaction with the entire PE&VC industry community in Brazil and abroad, generating an environment of constant and intense networking. For 14 years, the inBrazil Program has promoted exposure to the PE&VC industry and attracted international investors. Member Directory

The Member Directory serves as a resource for all those interested in the alternative asset segment. This new online tool allows for the search and visibility of ABVCAP members, managers, investors, service providers, and other professionals working in the sector. In turn, members become part of the ABVCAP Community and have access to exclusive functionality for contacting other members of the Association, as well as access to detailed information on the profiles of member institutions, which is only available to members of our community.

Institutional exhibition of members

ABVCAP's communication channels are open to members to share news, events, studies, and publications. Newsletters, a portal, LinkedIn, and direct advertising within the ABVCAP Community are some of these channels, reaching a large portion of those interested in our industry. Upon admission to membership, a profile of the new member is shared with the entire ABVCAP mailing list. From Monday to Friday, PE&VC in Focus, a daily clipping featuring the main publications about our industry, is distributed to all members.

Committees and Working Groups

Committees and Working Groups are the voice of our members, bringing the demands of each segment represented by the Association to the Board of Directors. Participation in these Committees is open to members, subject to the requirements of their respective Internal Regulations. A group of leaders coordinates the Committees' agendas, reporting to their sponsor, a role played by a Board Member.
