ScaleUp inBrazil

About the Program
Tapping into a new market is a hard task that requires time and financial resources to do it properly.
The ScaleUp inBrazil program comes to bridge this gap and provide international companies the methodology and tools they need to validate their product, secure customers and start operating in Brazil.
Qualified registrants will be evaluated by a judging committee comprised of Brazilian, Israeli, Japanese and Singaporean industry experts including corporations and fund managers. The judging committee will select up to 40 companies to join STAGE 1 of the program. Out of these companies a maximum of 20 will go through another evaluation session to join the following stages and continue in the program.
Setting the Stage | An overview of the Brazilian market
Qualified registrants will join this stage of the program, participating in webinars covering:
⦁ The Brazilian business environment, including legal and tax aspects;
⦁ Insights from foreign tech companies already operating in Brazil, sharing experiences and lessons learned;
⦁ An overview of Brazilian business culture, including customer approach and relationship-building.
Online training + Immersion Experience I
Only 20 companies will advance to Stage 2, beginning their market entry process in Brazil. This stage includes:
⦁ Online training on doing business in Brazil, product adaptation, customer understanding, and mapping potential partners and investors;
⦁ A two-week immersion experience in Brazil, the highlight of the program, with support from a business development consultancy to connect with the local ecosystem.
Product pivoting
After Stage 2, entrepreneurs return to their home countries to:
⦁ Implement product pivots identified during the immersion;
⦁ Deliver a minimum viable product (MVP) to Brazilian customers as quickly as possible;
⦁ Identify new customers and nurture relationships with existing leads;
⦁ Plan next steps for market penetration and business development in Brazil;
⦁ Align internal teams for the next onsite immersion.
Immersion Experience II (optional)
A one-week immersion in Brazil to:
⦁ Validate go-to-market strategies with customers;
⦁ Join Corporate Venture in Brasil, connect with CVCs, and possibly pitch on the main stage;
⦁ Receive expert pitch training and attend curated networking sessions with clients and investors.
Post-program support
After the formal ending of the immersion experience, this time will be dedicated for a 6 months post program support. Individual calls will be arranged with the companies and the ScaleUp inBrazil team directly during this period.
